bullet Sustainability consultant with The Freelon Group of Durham for the new Durham County Human Services Complex in downtown Durham (blocks 400 and 500 of E Main Street). The project will house DSS, Public Health and Mental Health. Size: 270,000 SF. Members of the sustainability team include Greg Franta, FAIA and Victor Olgyay, AIA from the Rocky Mountain Institute RMI/ENSAR Built Environment from Colorado and Chris Schaffner, The Green Engineer from Boston, MA. The Design Development Phase has been completed and the project will pursue LEED 2.2 certification.

bullet Daylighting and energy consultant to UNC Chapel Hill Facilities Planning for the UNC Botanical Garden Visitor Center, designed by Frank Harmon FAIA.
